BitDam Announces Local Cloud in the UK

JULY 2, 2019 – BitDam is pleased to announce that it now uses a local UK cloud for its services, thus ensuring its UK-based customers that their data stays within the country borders.

Providing cybersecurity solutions that protect enterprise communications from advanced threats hidden in files and links, BitDam serves organisations that vary by industry, size and location.

BitDam’s cloud-based solution proactively detects advanced attacks, pre-delivery. It protects email (Office 365, G-Suite, MS Exchange), cloud storage (OneDrive, G-Drive, Dropbox, Box etc.) and Instant Messaging (Slack, Teams, Skype and more) while empowering organizations to collaborate safely.

“Considering the growing demand from organisations in the UK, we decided to create a dedicated BitDam cloud instance in UK, hosted by Microsoft Azure, and dedicated to local customers,” said Liron Barak, Co-founder and CEO of BitDam. “This is a key milestone in our expansion in the UK, and I’m confident that together with our local partners, we will soon be able to change the landscape of cybersecurity in the country”.

Jonathan Palmer, Co-Founder of UK Based Cyber-Security firm Cloud Digital – one of BitDam’s trusted partners representing the company in the UK – added, “With Public Sector, Blue Light and NHS organisations now requesting that the data that they store in the Cloud all reside within UK borders, BitDam’s decision to open their first UK cloud instance is a very forward-thinking move that demonstrates their commitment and understating of the complexities of our market, especially with the uncertainties that Brexit brings”.

BitDam’s cloud-native service is hosted in Microsoft Azure globally as well as locally in Microsoft Azure’s UK.
